The PT5000 makes batch asphalt recycling a breeze. Designed to recycle large asphalt chunks up to 2 feet in diameter, asphalt millings (planings) and to produce virgin hot mix and high-performance cold-patch. The PT5000 provides a recycling rate of 5 tons per batch, approximately 15 tons/hour. Dump all or part of the load quickly. A hydraulically controlled discharge door allows for precise and quick material discharge to wheelbarrow, bucket or the ground. The unit is self-cleaning with self regulating temperature controls and self-shutdown making it simple enough to be operated by a municipal worker. Minimal operator intervention is required. A full batch can be discharged in 4 minutes. A built in filtration system eliminates smoke and fumes. Options include a built in scale with digital printout, conveyor loader, side load bin and more.
