The World of Asphalt Show and Conference has been named one of the 50 fastest-growing trade shows across all industries in the U.S. and Canada. This is the third time the exposition has been honored since its 2001 debut.

The "fastest 50" list was compiled by the "Tradeshow Week" exposition-industry publication, with shows selected based on exhibit space growth. The inaugural World of Asphalt in 2001 covered a little more than 28,300 net square feet of exhibits and the last show covered 67,250 net square feet of exhibit space. World of Asphalt and the other winners were recently honored for their achievement.

The next World of Asphalt will be held March 9-12, 2009 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida USA.

World of Asphalt features two prestigious educational conferences, the Asphalt Pavement Alliance (APA) Asphalt Pavement Conference and the People, Plants and Paving Training Program, in addition to extensive exhibits of the latest innovations and technologies in asphalt-related equipment, products and services,

New for 2009 is co-location with the new NSSGA World of Aggregates Forum & Expo to provide an enhanced show experience for attendees with expanded exhibits and education opportunities.

The event is held annually except in CONEXPO-CON/AGG show years such as 2008, when World of Asphalt equipment, products and services are showcased in a CONEXPO-CON/AGG asphalt product concentration area.

World of Asphalt is owned by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) and National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA). AEM is show producer.
