The Romanian Road Administration has awarded Pöyry an engineering contract  for the 250 million Euro Cristian - Fagaras motorway project in the centre of the country. Pöyry''s share of the contract is EUR 1.8 million. Services will be provided in cooperation with a local partner. The total length of the road will be about 50km and the project forms a major part of the upgrades to the Romanian road network to European Union standards. Pöyry''s services include complete design works. The deal is Pöyry''s second motorway project in Romania.
