Iveco and Nissan are unveiling new ‘green’ vehicles aimed at the commercial vehicle sector. Iveco has two diesel-electric parallel hybrid powered trucks, one a Daily van and the other a Eurocargo truck. Both of these are being developed with help from leading firms, FedEx and TNT respectively, and are expected to offer major savings in fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. Nissan’s latest Primastar and Interstar commercial vehicles are now available with a biodiesel option and these models are being offered to fleet users in France.
