Just 3km of the 78km Beni-Jomsom road remains to be completed in Nepal. This will link Jomsom to the country’s national highway network and should be finished within the next few weeks. The road has been built by the Nepalese Army and is intended to improve trade in the area. Meanwhile villagers have helped in the construction of the 13km Tumlingtar – Bhojpur (Dingla) road and a 3km road in Santidanda.
