Recycling target of 28%

A new US$12.5 million (Euro 8.7 million) landfill currently being developed by MCM Management Corp is expected to recycle 28% of all materials it receives once it starts operation, as well as being one of the first facilities of its type to use recycled materials in its construction, with as much as possible being used during the build process.

Sited near Waterloo in northeaster Indiana, the facility will boast a 40,000 square foot recycling station and a 28,000 square foot metal buyback centre. The facility will recycle scrap metal, paper and stone, as well as acting as a transfer station taking municipal solid waste.
