Study on Polyester Fiber Reinforced Concrete Pavement

Based on Marshell indoor test method, this paper analyzes factors that influence high temperature stability and water stability of polyester frber reinforced asphalt concrete. For SBS modified asphalt mixture, SHRP method is adopted on top of Marshell indoor test method for optimization, thus to confirm corresponding optimum asphalt consumption under different fiber mixing amount in polyester fiber reinforced asphalt concrete. In the same time, this paper compares and studies road application performance of common polyester fiber reinforced asphalt concrete and polyester fiber reinforced SBS modified asphalt mixture, so to provide basis for further theoretic study on polyester frber reinforced asphalt concrete pavement and instructing test road segment construction.
