Designed to recycle large asphalt chunks up to 2 feet in diameter, asphalt millings (plannings) and to produce virgin hot mix and high-performance cold-patch. The PT5000 provides a winter recycling rate of 15 tons per hour with 5 ton batches in just 18 minutes. Summer time output offers 20+ tons per hour with 5 ton batches in under 15 minutes. Smaller quantities of as little as 1 wheelbarrow load can also be produced in just minutes. The unit is self-cleaning with self regulating temperature controls and self-shutdown making it simple enough to be operated by a municipal worker. Minimal operator intervention is required. A full batch can be discharged in 4 minutes. Smaller batches can be easily unloaded from the 1/4 ton exit hopper. A built in filtration system eliminates smoke and fumes. A built in scale weighs each batch for precise mix design and tonnage.
