The Colorado Department of Transportation and APC Southern Construction Company have been awarded the 2006 "Best in Colorado" Asphalt Pavement Quality Award in the Project Delivery award category for the paving of U.S. 24 in Leadville. The award was presented at the 13th Annual "Best in Colorado" Asphalt Pavement Awards Dinner and Program. Also present from CDOT were Clinton Moyer, project engineer and Peter Kozinsky, resident engineer. "We are very pleased to recognize the Colorado DOT and APC Southern Construction Company for this accomplishment," said Steve Peterson, president of the CAPA Board of Directors.
