New dealers in the USA and European countries are being set up by Panien, the French-based soil stabiliser company. The company''s Challenger 260 now comes with a "true rocket set to road gauge" and a Cummins Tier 111, 520hp engine. New Tier 111 engines are also now fitted to the Challenger 160 360 and 460 models.

Also on offer as an option will be a foam bitumen injection devise for the 260,360 and 40 models, supplied by Soter of Canada. This system is said to be renowned for its quick start-up without pre-heating and easy maintenance.

Panien will display a complete and specific range for transferring the material by means of several hydraulically driven large diameter screws. The powder binder is distributed at the rear via different sections over a width of 500mm to 2.4m. Spreading can also be done using either side of the spreading unit.
