A range of new asphalt compaction rollers will be introduced by Dynapac together with a new compaction analyzer for asphalt software programme, new paver screeds and three new reversible plate compactors. Three new generation articulated 10-13tonne class tandem asphalt rollers, the Dynapac CC424HF, CC524HF and CC624HF, have been designed to meet the demands of road contractors and rental companies for large highways and airport projects. The Dynapac Compaction Analyzer for Asphalt (DCA-A) software programme provides operators with real time information about the rolling, allowing the next pass to be planned, taking into account the asphalt temperature of each area. Tracking the number of passes makes it easy for the operator to maintain control of the pattern and achieve the best results. Three new reversible plates, the Dynapac LG160, LG300 and LG520 are introduced. All three combine latest engine technology with low exhaust and sound emissions at high working speeds. The new LG 520 features a 700mm plate and can be radio remote controlled. The Dynapac VB510 and Svedala Demag EB51 screeds provides working widths up to 8.8m with the larger Dynapac VB600 and Svedala Demag EB60 provides up to 9.7m working width. Both units are available with gas or electrical heating. A new three-phase system in the electrical version allows constant heat dispersion and improved reliability. Dynapac introduces a simplified control option using relays as an alternative to electronics in its high capacity planers PL2000S and PL2100LS/S. The new system has been developed in response to requests from operators working in remote places far from specialist maintenance staff. Dynapac claim to be the only manufacturer to offer the choice of PLC or conventional control for this size of machines. |
