It was a world premiere at Intermat for a new range of batch hot mix asphalt plants from Ermont and Marini (Fayat Group). The model shown offers a production output of 180tonnes/hour with a 2.5tonne/hour mixer.

Two complete modules made full use of the hall''s 12m ceiling height in order to give the customers the fullest possible demonstration.

This range will be rounded off in 2007 with two other models of 3.5 and 4.5tonne mixers, giving outputs of 240/280tonnes/hour and 360tonnes/hr.

This represents a complete overhaul of the Fayat range, which from now on will be structured around the Ermont continuous plants, mobile batch mix plants (Roadstar), fixed and transferable compact equipment (Magnum) and pendulum solutions (Top Tower and Ares).

In the production field, SAE exhibited a new medium-output Packliner machine, designed for stabilising motorway carriageways.
