They say if its not broken, don"t fix it. And that was the message being sent out by the mini machine specialist Yuasa at Intermat 2006.

The company turned the spotlights on three products in Paris, all of which featured at Intermat three years ago.

Export sales manager Diana Michel said: "We"ve made small improvements, but nothing major because we don"t need to. Our customers are delighted with them as they are."

The trio of green-coloured machines being featured were the F14C crawler type mini asphalt finisher, the F1430CE crawler type mini asphalt finisher and the F1430WE wheel type mini asphalt finisher.

Diana added: "The machines are made in Japan and we sell a lot of them there. Our aim now is to make more of a name for ourselves in Europe and to sell more in the European region."
