More than 2,100 paving and pavement maintenance professionals attended the 22nd annual National Pavement Expo (NPE) in Nashville, Tennessee, January 31—February 3, 2007. The NPE is a tradeshow and training event for contractors and professionals who specialize in paving and pavement maintenance. Attendees learned about the latest innovations and equipment from exhibitors who were on hand to showcase their products and services.

The NPE also offered numerous training opportunities, including workshops and seminars on all phases of pavement work. Of note, the show featured the debut of the Asphalt Institute Conference - Essentials of Asphalt Paving and Maintenance. During this day-long conference, 130-plus attendees learned the fundamentals and best practices for producing high quality, long lasting asphalt pavements.
